Bible
By the time students enter eighth grade, some of them have received
eight years of instruction and experiences involving Bible stories and
Bible study. Mrs. Sato tries to use the eighth grade year as a time to
put all that instruction to practical use. The year begins with
students discovering their spiritual gifts and their strengths in the
multiple intelligences. Many Bible assignments and activities in the
eighth grade curriculum center on service and leadership. The
curriculum also includes a unit on parables and a unit on how our role
as global consumers should reflect our spiritual beliefs. The students
conclude the year studying Sean Covey's
Six Most Important Decisions You'll Ever Make.
