With over a decade of experience at Miramonte, Lisa now enters her second year as administrator. Known for her calm presence and strong connections with students, she loves being out on the playground, visiting classrooms, and engaging with learners of all ages. As athletic director, she brings her enthusiasm for sports to our school community in meaningful ways.

Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten Teacher
Kumiko is a dynamic kindergarten teacher known for creating hands-on, age-appropriate learning experiences that support both academic growth and emotional development. With her calm presence, thoughtful organization, and boundless patience, she helps students thrive. She also serves as assistant principal and yearbook sponsor, contributing her leadership and creativity across campus.

Nancy’s classroom is a welcoming, organized space where students feel comfortable and inspired. She weaves social-emotional learning into her lessons and helps each child recognize their unique strengths. Her sense of humor, collaborative spirit, and connection with students make her a treasured part of the school.

Trudi comes to Miramonte this year with many years of experience teaching multiple grade levels from elementary up to university in the states and abroad. Her passion for students, dedication to academic growth, and collaborative personality is a benefit to our school.

A proud Miramonte alum, Joli returns to campus in the role of teacher, bringing a passion for language arts and social studies. Her calm and kind presence creates a positive learning environment where students feel supported and encouraged every day.
Ronna Sato

5th-8th Grade Support Teacher
Mrs. Sato has dedicated over 30 years to Miramonte, teaching nearly every grade level along the way. She currently teaches 5th–8th grade classes, assists with athletics, leads the woodworking program, and supports many campus initiatives. Her commitment to Adventist education and deep care for her students are truly unmatched.
Isai Martinez

7th and 8th Grade
Isai joins the Miramonte team as the new 7th/8th grade homeroom teacher. With a love for history, a talent for scriptwriting and film, and a desire to build meaningful student relationships—just as his own middle school teacher did for him—he brings both creativity and purpose to the classroom.

Teacher's Assistant

Helaine serves as both a teacher’s assistant and our after-school program director. Whether in the classroom or on the playground, she supports students with kindness and care. Her musical gifts help bring joy and a love for Jesus into everyday life at Miramonte.
Sara Guerrero-Zapana
Instructional Aide

Sara supports classrooms as an instructional aide and brings energy and creativity to Spanish instruction for the lower grades. Her artistic skills shine through in school productions and projects, and her calm, encouraging nature makes her a wonderful asset to both students and staff.

Maintenance Director

Jose keeps Miramonte running smoothly as our dedicated facilities manager. Known for his quick fixes and cheerful attitude, he takes pride in maintaining a clean, functional, and welcoming campus. His sense of humor and helpful spirit are appreciated by all.
